Mehre Alam is a senior print and digital journalist/editor, author, and political commentator. Himanshu Joshi

Himanshu Joshi started his career as a journalist in 1989. Since then, he has worked in both print and audio-visual media. In the print medium, he has brought out editions and headed news desks, while in the audio-visual medium, he has experience as writer and producer. Over the years, he developed an interest in travel writing and photography and started by contributing articles and photographs in newspapers and magazines. He has authored two books – ‘Unknown Himalayas’ that was published by Delhi-based Roli Books in 2008 and Delhi City Spots guidebook for Thomas Cook, London, in 2009. Lakshmana Venkat Kuchi

Lakshmana Venkat Kuchi tracks social and economic changes taking place in the country and likes to document slices of history and all their aspects as and when they are happening. He is also editing a business and economy website, Southonomix, that is in the works. A keen music lover, and a sports buff, Venkat Kuchi loves travelling and meeting people.

Punam Bakshi Mohandas

Punam Mohandas is a journalist and writer with 25-plus years of work experience across India, Dubai and Thailand. She is currently a lecturer at an international university in Thailand. A nomad at heart, having travelled over 43 countries at the last count, Punam is also a film critic. She was a weekly columnist for the Hindustan Times (New Delhi edition), Delhi Midday, The Financial Express, The Statesman and The Times of India (Kolkata edition). She is also the author of the book, ‘Fallen Angels’.

Shakeel Ahmad

Shakeel Ahmad has spearheaded Desk teams at newspapers in India and Qatar and groomed several wannabe journalists into worthy craftsmen of their art. A postgraduate in English literature, he is known to be a perfectionist, one who sticks to the rules like fish to water. Starting his career with The National Herald in 1985, he went on to work with The Pioneer, and then with Hindustan Times where he worked for more than 21 years. Shakeel has also worked with the Qatar Tribune newspaper in Doha as a senior editor for around 11 years.

Rejimon Kuttappan

With nearly 15 years of experience in journalism, Rejimon Kuttappan has covered a variety of topics, including migrant issues, labour, environment, corruption, economics, and politics in India and the Middle East. He has contributed to various global, regional, and Indian news outlets such as Open Democracy, Reuters, Middle East Eye, Asian Labour Review, Equal Times, The Hindu, Times of India, The Wire and The Caravan. Rejimon is a fellow of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), Reuters, and the National Foundation of India on labour migration and modern-day slavery. He has been a consultant for ILO, International Trade Union Confederation, Migrant Forum in Asia, Human Rights Watch and many other global rights bodies. He has authored two books, including his latest work ‘Undocumented’, which was published by Penguin in the fall of 2021. He tweets from @rejitweets handle.

Dr Mohammed Firoz

With a career spanning over two decades in higher education, research, and educational leadership, Dr Mohammed Firoz has gained extensive global exposure through his work with various international universities. Currently, he serves as the Dean of Media, Design, and Creative Studies at Inspiria Knowledge Campus in Siliguri, located in the picturesque region of North Bengal, India.

Uma Sharma

In a career spanning over two decades, Uma Sharma, author of four books, has been writing on gender equality, women’s empowerment, inclusion, literary trends, branding, finance, publishing, and self-help. She has also edited 25-plus books in a variety of genres. Before commencing her writing career, Uma worked as a soft skills and communication trainer. She has also worked with organisations like Wipro, and Hewitt to name a few.
