Additional details confirmed for the road to ONE Submission Grappling Tournament

ONE Championship (ONE), the world’s largest martial arts organisation, announced Tuesday, January 16, that the final two World Championship bouts for ONE 166: Qatar will showcase Thailand’s Stamp Fairtex defending her Atomweight MMA World Title against Denice Zamboanga of the Philippines, and American BJJ star Tye Ruotolo defending his Welterweight Submission Grappling World Title against former IBJJF World Champion Izaak Michell of Australia.
ONE 166: Qatar, presented by Visit Qatar, will take place live from the Lusail Sports Arena on Friday, March 1. Tickets for the event are on sale now via the Virgin Megastore and Q-Tickets, said a media release.

ONE 166: Qatar will also feature three highly anticipated World Championship rematches, as ONE Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight MMA World Champion Anatoly Malykhin of Russia attempts to become a three-division king, challenging the Netherlands’ Reinier de Ridder for the ONE Middleweight MMA World Title.
In addition, ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Jarred Brooks of the U.S. defends his title against the Philippines’ Joshua Pacio, and ONE Featherweight MMA World Champion Tang Kai of China returns to take on interim title holder Thanh Le of the U.S. in a World Title unification bout.
