After a long wait for students as well as faculty and others, the Delhi University campus is all set to reopen for offline classes from February 17.
The outbreak of the Covid pandemic had forced the university to shut in March 2020, and while in-person practical sessions for third-year students resumed last year, but the university was shut again following the Omicron-led surge in cases in December 2021.
According to media reports, quoting a written order issued by the university registrar on Wednesday, offline classes for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses will begin with effect from February 17. However, all outstation students will have to undergo mandatory isolation for three days before they can enter their college, the media report added.
DU proctor Rajni Abbi announced the reopening of the campus.
