BNI’s Business Information Meeting is all set to be held on May 1

The meeting is in line with Oman’s official recognition as the 77th country of BNI

Referral marketing organisation Business Network International (BNI) Oman is hosting a ‘Business Information Meeting’ in Muscat at the Grand Millennium Hotel on Monday (May 1).

“The meeting is in line with Oman’s official recognition as 77th country of the BNI. Global Chairman and CEO of BNI, Graham Weihmiller emphasized that now Oman-based businesses have the opportunity to engage BNI services to increase their businesses and grow their customer base using the modernised business networking and globally proven system,” a BNI press release said.

Oman, according to BNI, has great potential to grow as per its Oman Vision 2040 and the businesses operating in the country can benefit from the Vision, provided they have the right traction and proper networking.

Identifying opportunities

“We proudly started working on it by identifying business opportunities that can ultimately benefit the country socially and economically the results of which can be seen in the overall growth of families and communities. BNI Oman has an objective to bring smiles to over 50,000 people in Oman by the end of 2040,” said Saleem Althaf, national director of BNI Oman.

With BNI’s support, more than 1,000 businesses in the neighbouring UAE and Qatar have turned into successful ventures. In the GCC, the BNI has its presence in Bahrain too. “Now it’s an opportunity for Oman-based businesses to connect with qualitative businesses of GCC efficiently through BNI,” Althaf noted.

BNI’s largest business networking conclave was held in Singapore on November 16, 2022, in which participants from 76 countries took part. During this meeting, Oman was mentioned as a potential destination with which BNI members can start businesses. “Now some core members of BNI Oman are excited to participate in the November 2023 BNI global conclave in Madrid, Spain and showcase businesses in the world’s largest business networking conclave.”
