However, following a mistake by Kane, Morten Hjulmand scored his first goal for Denmark to tie the game in the 34th with an incredible long-range drive.
Phil Foden struck the post in the 56th minute to give England a chance to win, but they had to settle for a point instead. If they had won, the runners-up from Euro 2020 would have advanced as group winners to the round of 16.
