The number of Keralites killed in the Kuwait fire catastrophe has grown to 26, and seven badly injured individuals are receiving treatment in various hospitals in the Gulf country, reports said.
The family members of the victims of the fire in a Kuwait building are in deep shock and devastated by the tragedy.
Authorities in Kuwait announced on Wednesday that a fire that broke out at a building housing workers claimed the lives of over 35 individuals, and the latest toll is reported to have touched nearly 50.
There is concern that the number of labourers killed in the six-story flat fire on Wednesday morning may go up even higher. The fire destroyed 49 workers’ lives so far.
After the fire was extinguished, at least 35 bodies remained within the structure, according to reports.
