One of the world’s all-time cricket greats is set to bid farewell to an illustrious career that saw him scalping more than 700 Test match wickets — the most for a fast bowler.
James Anderson, or ‘Jimmy’ as he’s called by many, will be sorely missed by fans.
So prolific has been Anderson’s wicket-taking ability that only two bowlers in the game’s history have taken more Test wickets – Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and late Australian leg spinner Shane Warne.

Curtains are set to come down on Anderson’s career with England announcing their squad for the first two Tests against West Indies.
