Regular international flights likely to return next month after 2 years

Nearly two years after they were suspended, following the Covid-19 outbreak, scheduled international flights are set to return next month – in March 2022.

According to media reports, the regular international flights are likely to commence on March 15, although no official announcement has been made so far.

This will come as a big relief to international travellers and the aviation sector, which has had to bear the brunt of the pandemic since it has been among the hardest-hit sectors.

It may be noted that the scheduled international flights were suspended on March 23, 2020.
