Shane Warne has gone too early. He was just 52. It’s a great loss to the world of cricket and he has left a void that cannot be filled. He was a magician of spin bowling and his “ball of the Century” to Mike Gatting can be termed, arguably, as the best ball that has ever been bowled in the game of cricket.
While off the field, Shane Warne was not known to have set the best example of etiquette or norms, and his family life was wrecked due to his scandals, on the field you just couldn’t take your eyes away from him. He was every bit a superstar. The way he walked and that swagger and the way he would make mincemeat of the best of batsmen, was a sight to behold.
We’ll miss you Warnie…Rest in peace.
