Ranjan Basu is a seasoned photojournalist who has worked across several media houses including Hindustan Times and The Asian Age. He started his career in 1982 with legendary photographer Raghu Rai in The India Today Group. He was the Group Photo Editor at Planman Media. During the last three decades, he has covered several important events, and his pictures have been published in major newspapers and magazines worldwide. He has received numerous awards, including a National Award 2008 from the Government of India.
