Fear gripped the world as Russia launched a multi-front offensive against Ukraine Thursday (24 February 2022), raising the fears of a Third World War with markets plunging and oil prices increasing substantially.
Media reports said Russian President Vladimir Putin had unleashed assault described by Ukraine as a “full-scale invasion” using land, sea and air forces.
Media reports said dozens of Ukrainian troops had been killed while explosions were heard in some of the biggest cities of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Putin, urging immediate end to violence between Russia and Ukraine.
